The other day, a customer of mine asked me, “Do you not sell sleeping bags?” It is true that this store does not sell sleeping bags. And as usual, I can’t shop at Onbase, so I don’t have any information on sleeping bags at Onbase. When I asked, ”Why do you need a sleeping bag?” The answer was “I need a sleeping bag because it’s very cold when I sleep on a ship.” Therefore, I am writing this entry to provide information on off-base stores that sell sleeping bags.
Most off-base stores where you can buy sleeping bags are concentrated in the Heisei-cho area. First up is Home’s.

By the way, Home’s parking lot is very convenient when shopping in the Heisei-cho area. I can’t say it out loud, but I feel like there’s no parking fee.
When you enter through the entrance, turn right and go straight ahead, you will find the outdoor goods department, where you can find sleeping bags.

The next store I’ll mention is Xebio, a sporting goods store located on the second floor of Daiso, right next to Home’s.

If you go straight from the entrance to the back, you will find ski and snowboard product section, and next to that is the outdoor product section where sleeping bags are sold.

As a side note, Xebio sells a lot of delicious-looking spices for grilling meat outdoors. I would like to try it if I have a chance.

If you don’t mind a used sleeping bag, 2nd Street, a large used goods store in LIVIN Yokosuka, located on the block next to Home’s and Xebio, is the place to go.

I remember in the fall of 2022, a Malaysian naval officer attending a ship review lost his GoPro and begged me to find it because he had to board a ship at 6am the next morning to return home. It’s the location. And GoPro still hasn’t been found.

I hope you all get your sleeping bags so you can stay warm and have a good night’s sleep on the ship.

Sleeping bags are apparently available at the Fleet Store. This entry itself was a waste(´;ω;`)
